Club Championships
Pickleball Club Championships
Now on rain date — Saturday, August 15th
 
Compete for prizes, fun, and the chance to have your name inscribed on the new Club Championship trophy!
 
Open Division, 8:30 to 11:30 am: This is an all-gender competitive division; teams can be mixed or of the same gender. Players in this division are expected to know and abide by all rules of pickleball (fully legal serves, momentum rule, etc.). Both partners must be CSC members. 8 teams max

    • $20 per team
  • Only one team member should register on behalf of the team

General details:
  • Exact format will depend on the number of registrants, but we expect round-robin/pool play followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket.
  • All teams will play at least 3 games, and up to 6
  • As is customary in tournaments, there will be some waiting between games and/or byes. Tournament ball will be the club’s pink or orange Franklin X40s
  • Given the limited slots and modest fee, we can only offer refunds if your spot is taken by someone else (or if you cannot make a rain date)
  • Dependents/children can participate, but parent must be present (if not their partner)
  • If we need to use the pb lines on tennis courts, each team in Open will play at most one game on that court
Member Open Play

Starting on May 20th, the pickleball courts will be blocked off every Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm for member open play. This is a no-RSVP, drop in, stay as long as you want format.

Players will mix with each other using the common “paddle stack, winners stay and split unless you’ve played two” format (with possible adjustments for especially light or heavy turnout).

There won’t be an official cancellation in case of inclement weather.

Come meet your fellow club members, and find those friends you want to continue scheduling games with!

(No instruction is provided, and participants should be capable of playing a game fully and independently, know all the rules, etc.)

Beginner "Quick Start" Clinic
9:30 to 11 am on Saturday, June 6th at $15 per person
Ninety minutes of instruction and drills to learn the basics of pickleball! Children ages 11 and up are welcome so long as a parent is also participating. CSC will provide loaner paddles and balls. (Given the modest cost and very limited slots, we cannot offer refunds unless your spot resells before the session.)
